My name is Tasha and I am 21 years old, moved from the US to Germany (Mannheim / Heidelberg area) 2 month ago and am looking for a disabled swimming group which I could join.

there is not too much more about me ... 5 years ago I had to get my left leg amputated due to cancer in the soft tissue...I am here as a student in Heidelberg... looking for a group / club which I could join going swimming together a couple of times per week... I was always swimming and won some local and regional contests in the US.

Somebody aware of a (disabled) swim club / group which I could join?

I suggest you sending an email to info@beinamputiert-was-geht.de and tell them a bit about you. That's a group of amputees in Heidelberg. Sabine, who is in charge there, is absent for a few more days but will answer your request as soon as possible.
